Eye drops with Sodium Hyaluronate 0.15% & Dexpanthenol 2%
Medical device, classIIbCE 0483
The HYLOPAN MAX® cares for and hydrates the ocular surface, while simultaneously relieving the symptoms of Dry Eye Syndrome (e.g. irritated, red, itchy, watery, or/and very sensitive ocular surface).
HYLOPAN MAX® acts by forming a preservative-free, viscoelastic, transparent protective film on the cornea without altering visual performance. This is achieved through the high water-binding capacity of the Sodium Hyaluronate it contains, which is the sodium salt of Hyaluronic Acid, which, among other things, is naturally present in the vitreous body of the eye. It also contains provitamin B5 (Dexpanthenol), which, on the one hand, has the ability to bind a large amount of water, hydrate, and care for the eye, and on the other hand, helps the hyaluronic acid to retain moisture. • The packaging consists of a 10ml multidose bottle. • It is preservative-free and well-tolerated during long-term use. • It is suitable for contact lens users. Contact lenses do not need to be removed during the application of the eye drops. • Available at pharmacies. • Store between 2°C - 25°C. Protect the container from light by storing it in the packaging box. • Use within 12 months after opening.
HYLOPAN MAX® provides long-lasting relief, hydration, and care from discomfort related to: • mechanical strain, e.g. from wearing hard or soft contact lenses or during ophthalmic diagnostic procedures • environmental strain, e.g. due to air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness, or polluted air (cigarette smoke, etc.) • working on a computer, using microscopes, or during/after long periods of driving • regular use of certain medications • reduced tear production due to age • allergens such as pollen, pet hair, dust, etc. • dry eye as a result of hormonal changes, e.g. during menopause • diagnostic or surgical procedures on the eye as pre- and post-operative care
• To open the HYLOPAN® MAX bottle, remove the safety ring by pulling the tab until the ring is completely removed. • Then, remove the cap by pulling it upwards. • Tilt your head slightly backwards, look upwards, and gently pull the lower eyelid away from the eye. Instill one drop into the conjunctival sac of the eye 3 - 5 times a day. • Slowly close your eyes to allow the fluid to evenly spread over the ocular surface. • Avoid any contact between the dropper tip of the bottle and the eye or hands. • If a drop remains on the tip of the bottle, gently tap the bottom of the bottle to remove it. • Close the bottle by gently pressing the cap onto the opening. • If the discomfort becomes more intense or persists, please consult your ophthalmologist!
• If you are also using other eye drops/eye ointment, wait about 15 minutes. HYLOPAN MAX® should always be used last. • Do not use the product on infected or injured eyes.
