Characteristics

• Sterile, hypertonic 5% Sodium Chloride solution.
• Eye drops, in single-use containers.
• Without preservatives.

Benefits

SALZ^® 5% removes corneal edema and excess fluid through its natural osmotic properties, thus improving the visual field.
Suitable for use:
• after eye surgeries (e.g., cataract surgery)
• for the treatment of corneal edema caused by diagnostic eye exams (e.g., gonioscopy) through balancing the osmotic values of corneal edema

Instructions of use

• Remove a single-use container.
• Ensure that each single-use container is not damaged.
• To open, twist the tip of the single-use container to break it (do not pull it).
• Avoid any contact of the opening with the eye and hands.
• SALZ^® 5% is used 3-5 times daily. Instill 1 drop per eye into the conjunctival sac.
• After instillation, gently close the eye.
