VITADEX®
VITADEX® combines Dexpanthenol, which has the ability to bind high amounts of water, hydrate, and care for the eye, with Vitamins A and E, which provide antioxidant protection.
Available in pharmacies in a 5g tube.
Can be used up to 3 months after the first opening.
Does not contain preservatives.
Improves the tear film and protects the ocular surface.
The cytoprotective properties contribute to the normal re-epithelialization of the ocular surface when affected by dryness.
Spreads very well on the ocular surface due to its soft and elastic texture, allowing the eyelids to glide smoothly over the corneal epithelium and conjunctiva.
Vitamin A, as a key component of the tear film, helps to hydrate the eye. Suitable for use by adults (> 18 years).
Typically applied 3 times a day.
Particularly recommended for use at night before sleep.
Easy to use and transport.
Provides long-term relief from symptoms of dryness, irritation, and mild discomfort, especially if:
1) Eyes are dry, which can be caused, for example, by Sjögren's Syndrome
2) There is discomfort from air conditioning, wind, pollution, or cigarette smoke
3) Discomfort is associated with contact lens use, prolonged use of screens (computers, mobile phones, tablets), microscopes, or driving
4) Discomfort is associated with pain during diagnostic examinations
Wash your hands thoroughly each time before using the product.
Break the security seal before the first use by opening the screw cap of the protective stopper in the opposite direction of the clock hands and remove the security seal membrane before use.
Hold the tube in a vertical position with the opening facing down above the eye. Avoid any contact of the tube nozzle with your fingers and eye.
Tilt your head slightly backward and gently pull the lower eyelid downward with the free hand.
Gently squeeze the tube and place a layer of ointment about 0.5 cm long in the conjunctival sac of your irritated eye.
Close your eyes slowly and move your eyeballs in all directions so that the product can spread evenly over the surface of the eye.
After use, close the tube again with the protective stopper.
Be careful not to touch the nozzle of the tube.
Avoid folding or wrapping the tube to prevent damage to the tube.
Always use VITADEX® last, after applying any other ocular products (e.g., eye drops).
